HOW CAN I HELP?

We've made it extremely easy. Sonoma County children's organizations are cooperating with Caring Strangers to provide a database of children's needs for his or her primary school years. Providing these basic requirements contributes to greater self-esteem, creativity and respect for others and their environment. While these groups provide for the social aspects of a child's development, they are unable to offer assistance with a child's ongoing material needs. This is where Caring Strangers steps in. As a caring stranger yourself, you simply click onto the database, choose a child to help, fill out and submit the form. Once you have done that, gather the items you have chosen to provide and then, either mail or deliver the package to the appropriate agency for delivery to the child.

The name and address of the agency will be provided when you complete the form.

Caring Strangers accepts gently used items for ages through 10-years old
and New Items Only for ages 11 through 17

As an alternative, you may donate funds directly to Caring Strangers, and your donation will be used to purchase items for these children and other beneficial children's projects here in Sonoma County.

Companies making donations at or above the $500 level will be acknowledged by adding their company logo and a link to their website on our Star Contributor web page.

All information you provide on the donation form will be kept strictly confidential. We do not sell, give or share contributor information with anyone.

There are two ways you can become a Caring Stranger:
Choose a Child to help or Donate Money
to help us fulfill these children's needs.

Your Donations to Caring Strangers Are Tax Deductible!
